Grain Division

Job Title—Accounting Clerk, Jeffersonville, Indiana 

  • Basic Job Description – Handles the accounting function for our Elizabethtown Indiana Grain Elevator. Also handles the accounting function for all Identity Preserved Specialty Grains for Jeffersonville, Elizabethtown and Madison, Indiana sites.  
  • Primary Job Duties
    • Imports delivery tickets and applies them to contracts.
    • Writes checks for Elizabethtown contracts to either farmers or haulers.
    • Enters and maintains contracts in the system.
    • Handles all agreements and documentation for Identity Preserved Grains for three locations.
    • Tracks unloading times for three locations. 
  • Job Requirements
    • Strong computer skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
    • Able to confidentially manage customer accounts
    • Strong ability to multi-task and with exceptional attention to detail
    • Grain Industry experience preferred
    • Must prefer a team environment 
  • Min/Max Experience Required—
    • Minimum 12 Months Experiencein an accounting role. 
    • Experience in Grain Industry preferred. 
  • Degree Required—BS/BA PreferredHS Diploma or equivalent required.  
  • Travel Required
    • Up to 10%

CTLC Division

 Western Gulf Services Sales Manager - Covington, Louisiana

Consolidated Terminals and Logistics Co. (CTLC) is a division of CGB Enterprises, Inc. which began as a transportation company in 1970.   Innovative thinking and an entrepreneurial spirit led to an expansion of services and markets, transforming CTLC into a global operation offering freight services for Ocean, Barge, Rail and Trucks as well as River Transfer Terminals and Services for the Barge Industry.  CTLC can handle the Logistics package from Foreign Port to the Customer's door step, www.ctlconline.com . 

 

CTLC capabilities include:  

 

  • Eleven separate midstream ocean vessel anchorages in the New Orleans, LA area plus Barge to Rail and Truck Transfer Terminals on major US inland rivers averaging 400 vessels and over 2,500 barge loadings per year.  
  • Barge chartering agreements, Rail freight capabilities plus a Trucking Division capable of providing a wide range of equipment and Truck Brokerage services.  
  • Nine marine fleeting and service facilities.       
  • CTLC handles in excess of 40 different products and commodities in both bulk and super sacks, including pig iron, semi and finished steel products, scrap, cement, clinker, fertilizers, minerals, alloys, grain, and break bulk; Plus project cargo for large industrial construction projects.

Basic Job Description To sell CTLC Terminals, Transportation, and Logistics Services by continuing to develop relationships with current clients and establishing relationships with new clients.  Also, analyze and develop a proposal on how to expand CTLCs entry into additional Houston and other Western Gulf markets.  The successful candidate must have business sense as well as abilities in Sales and Marketing.

 

Primary Job Duties

o        Maintaining Relationships and Increasing Sales with current customers

o        Increase Sales by growing Customer Base including

         Generating leads

         Cold calling

         Preparing and Making presentations, and

         Attending conferences

o        Market analysis

         Identify Products being Imported and Exported through the Western Gulf .

         Identify the Customers (Shippers and Receivers) controlling the products

         Identify applicable CGB services that can be Marketed to the Customers

o        Coordinate with CTLC Logistics Staff on how to support Sales Efforts

 

            Job Requirements

o        Experience in selling Stevedoring, Marine, Transportation and/or Logistics Services is required.

o        Experience in selling those services in the Houston and Western Gulf Markets - preferred.

o        BS/BA degree - preferred

o        Travel 50%+

o        Market Analysis capability as described above required

General Manager Marine Environmental Services - St. James Parish, Louisiana 

Oversee the company's environmental marine service business which includes tank barge and vessel cleaning, recovering product and developing the waste water processing business.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Direct responsibility for facility operations, personnel and commercial activities
  • Lead a ‘best in class’ culture for safety and environmental management
  • Market the business unit to develop a ‘brand’ of excellence
  • Establish and Manage customer relationship goals that build long term profitability
  • Grow the business into new areas for the company

Job Requirements:

  • Direct management experience in one of the following industries:
    • Liquid Terminals and Storage
    • Hazardous product logistics
    • Environmental management Services

Min/Max Experience Required? 10 years of relevant experience
 

Degree Required? Preferred
 

Travel Required? Yes, but less than 20%
