High Oil Corn (HOC)
Energy density, essential amino acid density, and fat replacement are the key elements in the success of Optimum High Oil CornÆ as a feed ingredient. Studies show broilers, layers, swine, lactating cows, feed cattle, and their stewards all benefit from the increases in feed conversion, feed intake, and animal health. Optimum High Oil CornÆ eliminates the need for expensive fat handling equipment; eliminates the palatability concerns, spoilage problems, and quality variability of animal fat; and reduces grain dust.

Post Harvest Chemical Free / Low GMO Corn
When storage chemicals and genetically modified organisms (GMO's) are a concern in your feeding ration, look to CGB's PHF Program. By utilizing our strong relationships with grain producers and a system of producer certification, audits, and testing, CGB is able to deliver corn to feed millers worldwide that is substantially free of storage chemicals and is substantially free of genetically modified corn types.
Achieving zero genetic contamination is probably not possible (since corn is an open-pollinated crop). However, tests have shown that we can significantly reduce the potential for GMO contamination and still make large-scale shipments. While CGB believes that there are many potential benefits to the traits offered by genetically modified grains, we respect our customers' right to choose for themselves and are willing to provide low GMO shipments to those who wish to take a cautious attitude toward this new technology.
