ISO 9001:2008Our goal in Premium Grains SM is to originate, load, and deliver identity preserved products that meet or exceed the requirements of our customer. We actively listen to our customers concerns and work in partnership with reliable growers and grain handlers who are willing to respond to the customers ideas.
Handling differentiated products requires a high level of communication, coordination, and commitment from all participants in the supply chain. We have incorporated ISO 9001:2008 into our management system which coordinates decentralized production areas in order to achieve consistency and responsiveness for the end-user.
ISO systems are focused on quality management designed to respond to the customers requirements. ISOs focus on the customer matches CGBs overall philosophy. We began the ISO 9001 certification process in 2001 and to date, CGB has completed ISO certification for several locations. Several of our major river terminals are included on our ISO certificate. View our ISO Certificate showing our scope of activity and a complete list of certified sites.
Developing our Quality Management System has helped CGBs specialty grains programs by: - Improving communication and control processes.
- Assisting our employees understanding of the customers objectives.
- Enabling CGB to better coordinate and comply with new programs.

Farming is a complex and globally competitive business. Advances in production, seed, and biotechnology are accelerating the pace of change and forcing us all to change the ways we think about farming. We believe it is important that our Premium Grains SM programs encourage the American farmer to strive for continuous improvement.
Producers participating in our Premium Grains SM programs understand that they collect more than a premium for growing better, high quality grains. Our producers take great pride in growing a quality product and benefit from knowing that their efforts are valued by an end-user. | |
