Smith Corporation and CGB Enterprises, Inc., celebrated its 10th anniversary and the christening of new twin National Oilwell Varco (NOV) AmClyde™ model 28 floating cranes, the “High Tide” and “Bob Frane,”at a May 13th ceremony on the Mississippi River, just outside the Hilton Riverside in New Orleans.

Rail Shipment Facility Planned for Defiance, Ohio

CGB Enterprises (CGB) today announced plans to invest in a new project located in Defiance, OH to construct a rail shipment facility.

CGB, headquartered in Mandeville, La., said the grain facility will be constructed at 11859 Krouse Road,south of County Road 424, in Larry and Ray Plummer’s Enterprise Industrial Park located in Defiance. CGB will build the terminal with shuttle loading capabilities on the CSX railroad.

CGB Enterprises Inc. Acquires Assets of Twomey Company

CGB Enterprises, Inc. (CGB) and Twomey Company (Twomey) are pleased to announce that CGB has purchased the grain and fertilizer assets owned by Twomey. These assets consist of 8 locations, one of which is a barge loading terminal near Gladstone, IL. The total storage capacity is 51 million bushels as well as 18,000 tons of liquid fertilizer capacity.
